DESCRIP TION
The Compact W, WS
(Short) or WV ( Vacuum) provides speed and flexibility
when wrapping label/s on cylindrical containers . The key advantage
of this style of machine over the 3R
range is speed. The label/s partial or full wrap while the machine
can be operated in an existing line or as a Stand-alone unit.
The W machine has one labeling head and allows
for future expansion to the WV2 or WVT
(Zero Down Time; NON-Stop machines), as against the WS
machine which has no capability of growth.
EXAMPLE APPLICATIONS
- Wine Bottle Labelling - full wrap , front & back (with vacuum device)
- Glass food jars
- Plastic Bottles - with full / partial wrap label - where label alignment is not critical
- Water Bottles - 600ml to 3L Round
PROCESS
The standard machine consists of a 2 . 4 M x 900mm high conveyor. On pressing Run the conveyor starts, the products once on the conveyor will travel until they come in contact with the variable speed Star wheel, the products are then released at intervals set by the operator. The product then travels until it is gripped between the wrap belt and a counter pressure pad at this point , 1 label ( or multiple labels with vacuum device) can be dispensed.
